Since Sardinia, the second biggest island in
the Mediterranean, provided us with outstanding
conditions for our work two years ago,
we have decided to go there once again this year.
It is not very busy there at the beginning of May,
and with any luck we should have warm sunny
weather at this time of year.
In contrast to the last time, when we rented a
holiday villa for a whole week, we will stay in
hotels this time. This will enable us to move on to
a new place every day or two. Then we will be
closer to locations and can take advantage of all
the opportunities available on the island, without
having to do a lot of driving. We will also not be
limited to one small area; instead we can wander
around the whole of the island and make use of
various backgrounds, from remote wild beaches
to picturesque rocky coasts and fairytale forests
in the mountains. I have planned a nice little tour
around the island, starting from Olbia in the
north-east and ending in the extreme south of
the island at Cagliari.
This time we will not have all four models with us
for the whole trip, either; at first only Sarah and
Michelle will be there, and after three working
days they will return, to be replaced by the other
two, Nella and Yvonne. That way only the girls we
are actually working with at any given moment
will be there. We have arranged three working
days for each pair of models. Since it is difficult to
work at weekends there because of the local
tourist traffic, I have arranged the first working
session from Wednesday to Friday and the
second from Monday to Wednesday of the
following week. We will spend the weekend in
between without the models, which will give us
the opportunity to relax a little. To get everyone
involved to Sardinia as comfortably as possible I
have had to arrange a series of flights with four
different airlines, and eight different hotels have
beenbooked for the accommodation.
