Our destination for the last journey this year is the Adriatic coast of Croatia, with its many islands. I was last here two years ago with Adriana, Fabienne and Stella, and I know we shall find some interesting and extraordinary locations including abandoned villages, spectacular ruins and a lush green river valley. I have planned our journey for the beginning of September, when the high season has just finished and it is markedly quieter than in the middle of the summer; with luck, however, the weather should still be warm and sunny.

Since the distances involved are not so great, this time we shall travel again by car from Budapest. Two days have been scheduled for the travelling and three for the shooting itself. We will start work on the island of Cres, which is located in the north of Croatia, gradually heading south until just after the city of Split; from there we will head back to Budapest.

Mymodels are Gina and Sara. The make-up artist will be Betty, who took the dual role of model and make-up artist on our journey to Provence several months ago. Again she will have to demonstrate considerable flexibility, because on this journey – unlike previous trips – I won't have an extra person along to act as assistant. Instead, Betty will take charge of the assistant’s work, such as holding the large reflector and filming the video report, as well as handling the make-up. She will thus be a kind of multi-functional assistant. Andonce again, therefore, we will bea small teamof just four people.
