Fortress on Pag

The journey(s):

GPS*: 44.3229°, 15.2554°

The southernmost point of the island of Pag is only separated from the mainland by the Velebit Channel, a strait 300 metres wide. Some decades ago a road bridge was constructed across it. In earlier times passage through the channel was controlled from this little fortress, which is today ruined and in an advanced state of decay.
